  9. CHANGE THE SEEN & FASHION THE UNSEEN BY GOD'S WORD !

  11. 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 "For our light affliction, which is but for
  12. a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of
  13. glory; while we LOOK NOT AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN, but AT THE
  14. THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN: for the things which are seen are
  15. TEMPORAL; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

  17. Paul is talking about spiritual forces that are not seen - which
  18. are continually working - THE LAW OF FAITH (Romans 3:27)!
  19.  
  20. He said "our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh
  21. for us A FAR MORE EXCEEDING AND ETERNAL WEIGHT OF GLORY while we
  22. LOOK AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN .... if We are used to
  23. looking at things with our natural eyes but Paul reminds us that we
  24. must move over into the realm of spiritual law and LOOK AT THINGS
  25. WHICH ARE NOT SEEN .....WITH THE EYE OF FAITH!(God's Promises cover
  26. the unseen.)

  28. Our lives should not be dominated by the circumstances around us
  29. and the cares of this life! Rather believers should take GOD'S WORD
  30. into their hearts and allow it to be a spiritual force in
  31. establishing things that we don't desire into things that we do
  32. desire! UNSEEN THINGS ARE FASHIONED BY THE WORD OF GOD "conceived
  33. in the heart, formed by the tongue, and spoken out of the mouth". 
  34. Charles Capps says the Word of God then becomes "creative power".
  35.  
  36. REAL faith ALWAYS works .. though it may not be manifested
  37. immediately.  God will always back His Word up WHEN the conditions
  38. are met.
  39.  
  40. In John 5:1-15, we read of ONE MAN'S HEALING yet there was a great
  41. number of incurables around this pool! This man was offered
  42. WHOLENESS (for spirit, soul and body).  What was offered had to be
  43. received and acted upon! At first he said "I have no man to put me
  44. into the pool".  In other words, I NEVER MAKE IT, I'M NEVER THE ONE
  45. THAT'S HEALED! SOMEONE ELSE ALWAYS GETS IT! He had an image on the
  46. inside that produced words of DOUBT, FEAR, WORRY out of his mouth!
  47.  
  48. FEAR IS THE TOTAL OPPOSITE OF FAITH and it does not come from God
  49. (2 Tim. 1:7).  Some people listen to the devil who says "you're no
  50. good, you're an unworthy person, you don't deserve it" - then they
  51. agree with the devil and walk round with their head hanging down!

  53. IF YOU WILL TAKE A VERSE OF SCRIPTURE AND CONFESS IT - AND HOLD
  54. FAST TO IT WITHOUT WAVERING - YOU WILL GET AN IMAGE OR PICTURE ON
  55. THE INSIDE OF YOU - THAT YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE CONFESSING!

  57. WHAT ARE YOUR DESIRES?           Mark 11:24
  58.  
  59. A desire may be good or bad - beneficial or selfish! (Ephesians
  60. 2:3-10) To eat, for example, is not wrong, but it could become an
  61. overly strong desire and then it becomes gluttony, etc. and what is
  62. meant to be good becomes evil! A desire can stem from the mind or
  63. the flesh (Eph.2:3) or the heart (the spirit) (Romans 10:1).  Make
  64. sure your heart's desire fits in with God's heart's desire! FLOW
  65. WITH WHAT IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE.

  67. Psalm 21:2 "Thou hast given him his heart's desire and has not
  68. withholden the request of his lips." (Notice what confession has to
  69. do with bringing into reality your heart's desire.) Psalm 37:4
  70.  
  71. Once you have a heart's desire and you know it is in line with
  72. God's Word, get the Scriptures you can use - speak them out
  73. constantly - and hold fast to that confession of faith until it
  74. comes to pass. (Don't lose out over the TIME ELEMENT .. it's the
  75. time element that says if you win or lose.  Don't seek things for
  76. "things" sake ... make sure your motive is right.)
  77.  
  78. Proverbs 3:13 "Happy is the man that findeth WISDOM and the man
  79. that getteth UNDERSTANDING, for the merchandise of it is better
  80. than the merchandise of silver and the gain thereof than from fine
  81. gold."

  83. FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE..THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN (Heb.11:1)
  84.  
  85. This verse is very well-known and you may be able to even memorise
  86. it, but it is important to know how it relates to us personally to
  87. do us any good.  Let's analyse this verse to get its meaning:
  88.  
  89. NOW or IS are words used to represent TIME and PRESENT TENSE. Hope
  90.           refers to the future but faith is always in the "now",
  91.           We are not operating in faith if we are not operating in
  92.           the present tense.  Therefore to say "I believe God is
  93.           going to heal me or "In God's time I will be healed",
  94.           etc. is a sign that you are not in faith.  You may be
  95.           sincerely hoping for the future but the operation of
  96.           faith is a confident assurance of the things we hope for,
  97.           being the proof of what we do not see by the senses.
  98.           If God's Word is to work in  our  lives,  WE  MUST  SAY 
  99.           WHAT  HE  SAYS.

  101. SUBSTANCE  Faith is the substance .. not hope! Faith is the
  102.           confirmation or the title deed for the things hoped for
  103.           .. it becomes the raw material or the tangibility.  Hope
  104.           sets our goals but "hope so" can be just a dream.,
  105.           without substance-.
  106.  
  107. EVIDENCE  Faith is the evidence or PROOF of things we do not see
  108.           and the conviction of their reality! One well-known
  109.           preacher says "Proof is that which substantiates or
  110.           validates the existence of something you don't presently
  111.           have."
  112.  
  113.           Therefore faith is not permanent but temporary until that
  114.           particular spiritual transaction comes to pass in your
  115.           life.  Faith then is invested in another area and so
  116.           becomes an ongoing lifestyle for the believer.

  118. THINGS    These "things" cover your desires (Mark 11:24) the things
  119. NOT SEEN  not visible to your natural eyes or senses .. those
  120.           desires in line with God's will for your life.
  121.  
  122. The Amplified Bible defines it this way "Now faith is the assurance
  123. (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things we hope for, being
  124. the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their
  125. reality - FAITH PERCEIVING AS REAL FACT WHAT IS NOT REVEALED TO THE
  126. SENSES."

  128. HOW CAN WE KNOW WHAT THE "THING" IS? 
  129.  
  130. Whatever is covered by the Word of God! Faith is a "6th" sense or
  131. a sense of the spirit and our faith becomes the substance of the
  132. things revealed in God's Word, bringing the promises of God (the
  133. unseen) into the realm of the seen .. that which is visible to your
  134. natural eyes or senses.  
  135.  
  136. THE WORD OF FAITH .. God's Word is described as "the word of
  137. faith"(Rom. 10:8) and FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE
  138. WORD OF GOD (Rom. 10:17).  Notice it didn't say "Heard" or "to be
  139. heard" but HEARING .. PRESENT TENSE AGAIN! What you "hear" (either
  140. down in your spirit or from outside) will affect what you "speak"
  141. and "say" and we must all remember that "BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE
  142. JUSTIFIED AND BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL B CONDEMNED". (Matt. 12:37)

  144. Mental assent to the truth of God's Word is not enough .. there is
  145. no guarantee about head faith ... but REAL -FAITH - heart faith -
  146. always works!
